Travel fragrance diffuser.

From suitcase to wardrobe.

The travel fragrance diffuser designed by Michele Venisti for Millefiori Milano is a reversible accessory that accompanies clothing in two settings: inside a suitcase and in a wardrobe. Turning it over changes how it attaches and how it is used.

The project

An object that follows clothing.

When travelling, the diffuser attaches to the suitcase’s internal pockets or elastic straps. On arrival, the same object can be turned over and hung from a wardrobe rail or a clothes hanger for continued use in a wardrobe.

The design combines these situations in a compact form. The relationship between container and attachment allows it to move from one setting to another without requiring a second accessory.

The design detail

Two ways to use the same object.

The closed configuration is designed to gently scent the suitcase interior. In a wardrobe, the accessory is used open to diffuse fragrance into a larger space.

Its reversible character concerns both attachment and use: suitcase pockets or straps when travelling, and a wardrobe rail or clothes hanger at home. The colour variants share the same functional design.
