The project
A form to look at, a fragrance to experience.
Lampair brings catalytic fragrance diffusion into an object conceived for the home. Its rounded glass body narrows towards the neck, creating a compact, distinctive silhouette. The thicker base visually anchors the form and highlights the qualities of the glass.
The perforated metal cap contrasts with the continuous glass surface. Its reflections and elongated openings characterise the upper section without overwhelming the overall volume. Clear and smoke-grey glass offer two interpretations of the same shape: one brighter, the other more subdued.

The design detail
A catalytic system within a simple form.
The lamp uses fragrance specifically formulated for catalytic lamps and a wick with a burner. Once the wick has absorbed the liquid, brief ignition starts the system. The flame is then extinguished and fragrance diffusion continues with the protective cap in place. The snuffer cap stops the process.
The design distinguishes these elements through clearly defined materials and forms: glass holds the fragrance, while the perforated cap protects the burner area during use. Follow Millefiori’s instructions for filling, timing and operation, and use only liquids intended for catalytic fragrance lamps.
