Car Quadro.
A coloured frame for fragrance.
Car Quadro is a car diffuser designed for Millefiori Milano. A compact body, square geometry and coloured insert define an accessory that clips onto an air vent and releases fragrance through the cabin’s ventilation.

The project
Small format, recognisable identity.
The project brings fragrance into a small space, integrating the casing, scented element and attachment into a compact object. The square shape with rounded corners creates a discreet presence in the car interior, while the central logo makes the product immediately recognisable.
The contrast between the black body and the coloured outline is Car Quadro’s defining feature. Colour identifies the different fragrance variants and becomes part of the design: a slim frame that gives depth to the front and character to the whole range.
The advertising campaign “Il profumo che si fa guardare”, dedicated to the Linea and Quadro Car Air Freshener diffusers, was created by the Armando Testa studio in Turin.
The design detail
Replace the fragrance. Keep the diffuser.
The outer plastic casing holds a scented rubber element. A clip attaches the diffuser to the air vent, where the airflow helps release fragrance into the cabin.
When the scented element is exhausted, the rubber part can be replaced with a refill while the casing is retained. Separating the body from the consumable is central to the design: the object keeps its identity while its fragrance component is renewed.
